Nearly everything is made in-house, and I mean everything, from the warm, puffy, recently grilled pita bread at the beginning of the meal to the ice creams and sorbets with exotic flavors like roasted fig, charred pita and lemon-fennel at the end.

If you’re in the mood for the kind of fancy food that you usually find in high-end Manhattan restaurants, definitely check out Lola. The food is beautifully prepared and exquisite tasting.
Great Neck Eats
Looks can be deceiving. So it is with Lola on Long Island. You’d never expect to find a restaurant of such quality with these ingredients, and a chef of this stature on Middle Neck Road in the heart of Great Neck.
Always Hungry NY
After a movie, we decided to grab a late night dinner We were nicely seated, and ordered 3 small places and wine. These small plates were nicely sized - delicious Lamb pizza, Tuna Tartar wasn't fishy at all - all with the freshest ingredients, and the mmm the roasted octopus - I am still thinking about it now!
I haven't given a meal five stars in a long time - however this dinner was truly superb. Our first time here, service was attentive, food was gourmet (Shaved kale salad, schwarma, halloumi with watermelon, and the whole roasted duck). Everything about the experience was perfect.
Arrived around 8 drawn towards the restaurant's signature red glow. Chef Lenny Messina himself greeted us and helped with the menu. I am typically picky, but WOW - vegetable based dishes to lamb, they have something for everyone - and everything was absolutely delicious.
